June 2011 - The Vardar Soccer Club based in Livonia, MI (aka Vardar South) has experienced tremendous growth during tryouts this past June. The club grew by 100% doubling its previous size of 5 teams to 10 for this upcoming year. Much of the growth can be attributed to the enormous success that the younger teams in the club had this past year.

The U8's ended up winning both the fall and the spring seasons in MYSL's top division. The same can be said for the U9 team which not only won the fall season in the top division but also won the spring season in dramatic fashion topping FC Nova Ciaciaro for first place after drawing against them in the last game of the season. The U11 Red team finished second in the fall with an 8:2 record moving up a division for the spring. In the spring the U11 Red finished in third with an impressive 6:1:2 record. The U11 Black team finished third in the fall and tied for second in the spring in the top division of MYSL, arguably the toughest division in the state of Michigan.

As the club prepares for the fall 2011 season DOC Dennis Brose had this to say, "If you believe in what you are doing you need to stick with it regardless of what others think or any setbacks you may experience. We've lost some teams over the past few years for different reasons but we didn't change our philosophy. As with any good business plan it eventually pays off. I truly believe that people are starting to recognize we must be doing something right to have this type of success after only three years in existence. It's not like we get all of the best players from other clubs, we actually develop soccer players."
