Vardarstars West Victorious in Middletown

The Vardarstars West U-14 boys opened their Spring Season by winning the Middletown Spring Blast Tournament just outside Cincinnati this past weekend. They prevailed Saturday by beating CUSA 92 1-0 and Ohio Elite 2-1. Their 3rd match against SCSA ended in a 1-1 draw which was enough to earn a spot to play Worthington United in the final. It was a defensive match with few scoring opportunities until VS West finally netted a goal late in the first half. With one minute left in the match, they struck again to make it a 2-0 victory! Great effort boys!!!

2006 Northwest Ohio Festival Champions

The Vardar West U-14 Boys were the Champions at the 2006 Northwest Ohio Festival Soccer Tournament this month. They went undefeated in their bracket and beat Maumee Express 2-1 in the final! They scored 22 goals as several players made the scoring column and only allowed 3 goals against over the weekend.

It was a great effort from all the players as they prepare for another tough season in Michigan Premier Division One.
